Regina Rancourt

  • Piano

Regina Rancourt is a 2023 graduate of Xavier University from Westfield, Indiana. She graduated with a Major in Music Performance (on Classical Piano) and a Minor in Psychology. Besides piano, Rancourt also studied composition, conducting, voice and harpsichord during her time at Xavier. She is enthusiastic about helping students meet their personal goals as well as building musical independence, confidence in performing and healthy technique.

Natalie Orth

Having over seven years of experience as a violin teacher, Natalie is as passionate
about teaching the violin as she is about playing. She believes in a loving and patient approach
to teaching and believes that given the right tools and skills, anyone can learn to play the violin
no matter their age or ability. In August 2018, she traveled to Pittsburgh and completed Unit One
of the Suzuki Violin Teacher Training program. During her year off of school, Natalie built up a
large private studio of eighteen violin students. While in Chicago, she taught for the DePaul
Community Music Division, giving private violin lessons and group violin classes. Natalie hopes
to instill a lifelong passion for music, learning, and creativity through violin playing in her
students.

Diana Chubak

Diana is Ukrainian born pianist currently based in Cincinnati (OH), USA. She was
born in 1995 in Ternopil (Ukraine). Diana graduated from Mykola Lysenko Lviv Music
Academy in 2018, where she studied with Oksana Rapita. She is a laureate of many international
competitions: Competition after Myroslav Skoryk (Ukraine, 2016), the award “Golden
Parnassus” at the XII International Piano Forum “Bieszczady without borders” (Poland, 2017),
the II Prize at the VIII International Siegfried-Weishaupt-Klavierwettbewerb competition
(Ochsenhausen, Germany, 2018).

Vera Hsu

As a teacher, Vera has eight years of in-person violin and piano teaching, two years of violin group teaching, and three years of online teaching experience. She was a violin club teacher at
Mingde Elementary School in Taiwan. Currently, Vera is doing the Suzuki Association of America’s teaching training and being a violin and piano teacher at Cincinnati String and Tallant Music Studio.

Victoria Ellington

  • Voice

Soprano Victoria Ellington received her Master’s of Music from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) where she studied with Professor William McGraw. During her time at CCM, she was able to workshop several new operas including Blind Injustice and Awakenings with the Opera Fusion: New Works program, a joint collaboration between Cincinnati Opera and CCM Opera. In past seasons she has performed at Cincinnati Opera and the Kennedy Center among other places. She is looking forward to participating in the world premiere of Fierce by William Menefield with Cincinnati Opera in the 2021 season.

Josh Kim is a recent graduate from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music with a Master’s degree in cello performance. Currently, He is pursuing an Artist Diploma degree with a full tuition scholarship studying under Alan Rafferty. As a recipient of numerous awards, Josh has received masterclasses from Yo-Yo Ma, Hans Jørgen Jensen, Stephen Geber, Mark Kosower, Melissa Kraut, and Sara Sant’Ambrogio to name a few. Doctoral Candidate at University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music, Nic comes to TMS with an incredible ability to discover the musical voice in all his students. He is a well-accomplished composer and violist with a keen teaching ability. He also works with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and in the CCM admissions office, bringing an expertise of knowledge in arts administration and the college admissions process. Julianna is an insightful, inspiring, and invigorating teacher for students of any age. Whether you want to learn to play the flute for the first time, get into a collegiate music program, youth orchestra, music festival, or just become a better flutist and musician, Julianna is here to help. Her rounded approach to learning focuses on developing healthy fundamentals, sharing practice techniques to increase confidence and efficiency, and empowering students to express their unique voice.

Velislava (Veli) Franta

Composer and pianist, Velislava (Veli) Franta, has been teaching piano instruction for almost 20 years. A native of Bulgaria, she began playing the piano at the age of 6 and received degrees in Piano and Music History in her country. When Veli isn’t teaching, you can hear her playing and writing beautiful, storytelling music echoing through the rooms of the studio from our white grand piano. Veli is patient, well-experienced, and excited to teach all ages how to master a beautiful instrument. Click on her picture for more information.
